Welcome to Ravensworth Care Home in Chesterfield, specialists in the provision for care for adults with Dementia, registered for 28 occupants.

We aim to provide a comfortable home environment for each and every individual, providing a high standard of care at all times. We are committed to providing an environment in which the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the Service User are met.

We continuously strive to create an atmosphere within which Service Users are encouraged to practice self determination and to maintain close links with the management and care staff.

Ravensworth stands in nearly an acre of beautifully maintained gardens, patios and pathways, all of which are accessible by wheelchair users. The care home itself if situated on the outskirts of Duckmanton Village, near to the town of Chesterfield in the county of Derbyshire.

You can access Ravensworth from the junction off the M1 Motorway, Junction 29A. Poolsbrook Country Park is within walking distance, with McDonalds, Starbucks, Subway and Greggs opposite. Bolsover Castle can also be seen from the home and is a short, two mile drive away.

The major town of Chesterfield with its famous crooked spire is just four miles away. Beauty spots such as the town of Bakewell, Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are all within easy reach, an approximate forty minutes car journey.

Ravensworth is a member of the National Care Home Association, registered with Derbyshire County Council Adult Social Services.

We can provide care for people with Dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, Vascular Dementia, Multi and Infarct Dementia amongst many others.
